Agile Philippines x Waterfall Philippines Meetup!
So after Ten Years of Agile Philippines, the next meet is a joint meetup with… Waterfall Philippines?!
We even had the perfect stars-have-aligned realization:
- Agile Philippines: 94th meetup
- Waterfall Philippines: 4th-ever meetup
94–4 = Agile Philippines is 90 meetups ahead!
(Actually, this was the 95th meetup after we double-checked the numbers…)
I have new photos of waterfalls to use in meetups like this:
We made use of Lean Coffee to facilitate the meetup. We had a 20 minute timebox for each topic, and we could choose another timebox (or more) if the group wanted to discuss the topic further.

I don’t think it was in anyone’s best interest to prolong the meetup further beyond the timebox…
Agile Philippines meetups happen every last Wednesday of a month. This is a community event, and is only made possible by the people who go to the meetups, and the organizations who open their doors to allow us to meet as a community.
Waterfall Philippines would like to thank all the folks at Agile Philippines for the support! It was also great to see people from around South East Asia attend. Two years ago we asked how far were we willing to take a joke, and it looks like we are still going, and learning along the way!
Waterfall Philippines meetups happen. They just do. This is a community event, and is only made possible by people who go to the meetups, and the people crazy enough to pull something like this.
